A BUSY TIME

Well, I've just returned home from a performance of my 60's show on a P&O Cruise ship, the Pacific Eden.  I had a fabulous time, and my show was so well received which always puts a big smile on my face.  The staff had so many requests for another performance that I returned two night's later.  Luckily I'm a Virgo and I had more material with me.

We sailed from Fremantle to Broome, places I've never been to, and Broome was just beautiful.  And it was so wonderful to put a summer dress on again, after wearing hats and coats here in Melbourne for the past month.  Just lovely to be in the warmer weather, even if it was only for a week.  I'll take it!!

Next Thursday my pianist, Greg Riddell and I will be making the trek to South Australia, and performing my show Night and Day - the Doris and Shirley Show at six venues in and around Adelaide.  It's going to be a busy tour but I can't wait.  It's so lovely to be able to perform a few shows in a row, rather than just one off shows, which is often what happens.  I can't wait to return to Adelaide and entertain the troops.  We were there two years ago with the 60's show and they loved it, and I'm sure they'll love this one as well.

See you soon, Adelaide!!
