I can’t quite believe it, but I’ll be spending almost 3 months in Germany this year, performing with The Fabulous Singlettes. I’ve already had a taste of working with the other amazingly talented gals, Naomi Ayers and Melissa Langton at the end of last year, when we wowed the audiences at Memo Hall in St Kilda. But I suspect performing in Bonn and at The Tipi theatre in Berlin may just top that. Naomi created the show 30 years ago and has been leading the charge since then, and Melissa has been strutting her stuff for 20 of those years. I am certainly the new kid on the block and very happily so, I might add. I can’t wait to work in Germany alongside these fabulous girls.
And then I return to a host of performances of my own shows, starting in South Australia in July with my 60’s show and Gems of Jazz. Followed by my country, Christmas and Doris Day/Shirley Bassey shows all across Victoria, including a quick visit back to North Gosford.
Oh Carole, a fantastic show which features the wondeful Mark Jones and myself singing songs from Carole King and Neil Sedaka, also features heavily in the 2nd half of the year, with three shows to be performed around Victoria. I just love this show, one of the newest additions to my showlist, and working once again with the amazingly talented Mark is a real treat.
It’s going to be a fabulous year and I hope you get a chance to catch one of my shows, wherever you are in the country.
